What Atelier connects.

Atelier exposes Bob through a secure MCP server at https://mcp.elier.ai/mcp. That gives ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and other MCP-capable agents a scoped tool surface for the site you own: list sites, read pages, update content and CSS, add media, refresh previews, and publish when you approve.

Current status.

The MCP server is live for private setup and being prepared for public directory review. Until the directory reviews clear, these buttons are setup paths rather than public one-click installs.

After approval, this page will link directly to the published ChatGPT app and the published Claude connector. Customers sign in with Atelier’s Clerk login, and the app resolves their own site from their account before any file operation is allowed.

ChatGPT.

The public Install to ChatGPT button requires OpenAI App Directory approval. The app must first pass review with OAuth, tool annotations, security metadata, privacy/terms/support pages, screenshots, and a reviewer test account. Setup instructions live at Atelier in ChatGPT.

For testers before approval, we use ChatGPT developer-mode app setup from the OpenAI Platform Dashboard.

Claude.

Claude supports a custom connector setup path once the MCP server is live. Setup instructions live at Atelier in Claude. The connector URL is:

In Claude, open Settings, go to Connectors, add a custom connector, paste that URL, and sign in. After Claude directory approval, this page will switch to the permanent connector listing link.

Codex.

Bob is available to Codex through the Atelier plugin and the same MCP server. Use the install commands on Bob, sign in with the Atelier account that owns your site, then ask Codex to list your Atelier sites or update a page.

What access means.

Signing in does not give Atelier broad filesystem access. The MCP server maps your Clerk identity to your crm_accounts row, resolves your site slug, confines paths to /home/john/sites/<your-site>/, and applies a safe edit policy before any write.
